Benefit Takes Place Thursday, November 8 in Beverly Hills
LOS ANGELES (October 29, 2018) – The SAG-AFTRA Foundation announced today the host, final musical performer, and several presenters for the 3rd annual Patron of the Artists Awards benefit which takes place Thursday, November 8 at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills. Rachel Bloom will host the show. New additions to the evening’s program include Kristin Chenoweth, who will take part in a musical performance, as well as presenters Alison Brie, Guillermo del Toro, Ryan Gosling, and Michelle Yeoh.
The SAG-AFTRA Foundation previously announced it will honor legendary actor Harrison Ford, superstar performer and actor Lady Gaga, entertainment industry leader, WndrCo Co-founder and Quibi Founder Jeffrey Katzenberg, and trailblazing Director/Producer/Writer Spike Lee at the celebration. Previously announced performers and presenters to date include: Arlissa, Adam Lambert, and Leona Lewis; and presenters Adam Driver, Chrissy Metz, Geoffrey Owens, John David Washington, and Henry Winkler.
Previous recipients of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s Patron of the Artists Awards are Director/Writer/Producer Judd Apatow, Director/Producer Kathryn Bigelow, Director/Writer/Producer Lee Daniels, Producer Megan Ellison, Director/Producer Rob Marshall, and Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos. The 3rd Annual Patron of the Artists Awards benefits the Foundation’s vital assistance and performers programs for SAG-AFTRA artists, as well as its Emmy® nominated children’s literacy program Storyline Online®.
